The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary range of $134,930 to $189,005 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation and access to salary packaging. This attractive package reflects the importance of attracting and retaining top talent in the medical field.

You will also have the opportunity to engage in a structured education day rostered every four weeks, with additional self-directed learning time during the second fortnight of each month.

Job Description

This is a fixed-term full-time shift-worker position working 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of negotiating hours with the successful applicant. The primary responsibilities include managing private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site or facility, as well as providing after-hours emergency coverage as required.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with RANZCA Fellows and other senior clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in reciprocal learning as part of the EMET programme, travelling to rural sites and engaging in education and training activities under FACEM supervision.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must hold general or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia, as well as current Working with Children Registration (where applicable) and a valid Driver's Licence (if required for the allocated role).
