Job Summary

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health assessments and interventions to children and adolescents in a variety of settings, including inpatient and community-based services.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with families and carers to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health programs and services, ensuring a high level of quality and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support to children and young people with complex mental health needs.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications in mental health nursing.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing competing demands.
