Health and Safety Professional Job Opportunity
Job Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety professional to join our team as a key member of the project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, auditing, and improving health, safety, and environmental systems and processes.
About the Role:
- Provide expert knowledge and advice on health, safety, and environment matters, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct site-based inspections and task observations, ensuring project personnel have necessary competencies and documentation.
- Support on-site incident investigations and provide injury management services.
- Deliver workplace safety training, complete monthly project statistics, and participate in project toolbox and pre-start meetings.
- Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
- Qualifications in Auditing of Health, Safety, and Environment Systems.
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.
- Trained in Alcohol and Drug Screening in the Workplace.
- Knowledge of construction techniques and current experience in permit to work systems and high-risk work activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in TMR and/or RMS environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
