Leading Store Manager

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our dynamic team and take on a leadership position in one of our retail stores.

As part of the Accent Group portfolio, we deliver premium activewear & footwear to fashion devotees worldwide who lead active lifestyles.

We aim to curate active and off-duty fashion in a distinctive way for our customers, showcasing top-tier collections from over 70 established and emerging designer brands.

The Role:

  • Lead and inspire a team of passionate casuals, working closely with your Store Manager.
  • Drive sales and key performance indicators (KPIs), customer engagement, and team member coaching and development.
  • Collaborate with your Area Manager to identify opportunities for growth in a high-profile space.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate store operations to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPI's, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control, and shrinkage.
  • Motivate your team to achieve KPI's & added value targets across stores.
  • Closely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets.
  • Effectively manage wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standards.
  • Coach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage individual development.
  • Ensure efficient occupational health and safety (OH&S) management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislation.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of Retail Manager experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to work Sunday - Thursday roster.
  • Motivated 'Make it Happen' attitude.
  • Possess passion for leading and inspiring a team to succeed.
  • Strategic thinking to identify missed opportunities and drive sales and KPI's.
  • Operationally excellent and experienced with stock control and visual merchandising.
  • Able to effectively manage a roster & wage control.
