About the Role

At Gartner, we're seeking an exceptional Strategic Account Executive to lead relationships with our largest Energy and Utilities large enterprise clients in Brisbane. In this role, you'll leverage your experience to drive portfolio growth through deep client partnerships within this critical sector.

Strategic Impact:

· Own and grow a portfolio of Gartner's most strategic enterprise relationships within the Energy and Utilities industry in Brisbane and broader Queensland.

· Lead complex, multi-year digital transformation initiatives at the highest levels of client organizations, focusing on challenges specific to energy generation, transmission, distribution, and retail, as well as water and gas utilities.

· Develop and execute sophisticated territory strategies that maximize client value and portfolio growth.

· Partner with sales leadership to drive best practices and innovation in our approach to market.

· Build and nurture C-suite relationships across multiple stakeholders and business units within energy and utilities companies.

· Collaborate with research and advisory leadership to drive exceptional client outcomes, leveraging Gartner's expertise in areas like smart grids, renewable energy integration, grid modernization, regulatory compliance, and customer experience in utilities.

What Exceptional Looks Like:

· Proven enterprise sales professional with 5+ years of experience in technology, software, or advisory services, with a strong preference for experience within the Energy and Utilities sector.

· Track record of consistently exceeding targets ($1M+) through strategic account management.

· Experience leading complex, multi-year strategic initiatives with senior stakeholders in energy and utilities organizations.

· Strong business acumen with the ability to navigate and influence C-level relationships within the Energy and Utilities industry.

· History of building and executing sophisticated territory plans.

· Outstanding executive presence and communication skills.

· Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree advantageous.
