About the Role:

We are seeking a Consumer Peer Support Worker to join our team at Harvester Clinic in Sunshine. You will be a valuable addition to our multidisciplinary teams who continue to strive in the improvement and support we offer our consumers and expand our lived experience workforce.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A personal lived/living experience of mental health challenges and accessing mental health services, with a willingness to share this lived experience in a peer support capacity.

- Have a desire to connect and support the journey of other consumers.

- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively with consumers, carers and staff members.

Western Health also provides the primary healthcare service at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre, a women’s prison located in Ravenhall.
