Mechanical Fitter

Overview

SRG Global is currently looking for Mechanical Fitters to work a 9 day FIFO Shutdown. This casual role will see you engaged on periodic campaign maintenance, grouped/batched maintenance programs, as well as completing both preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance. This role provides daily maintenance and service of Fixed Plant Equipment.

Shutdown Dates

- Main shutdown – Commences on the 13th October till 20th October

Flexibility

- Day Shift Flat Rate: $62.00

- Night Shift Flat Rate: $72.00

- Casual Flat Rate.

- 12 Hour Days/Night Shift.

The successful applicant will have

- Previous experience in a Mechanical Fitter Role.

- Hands-on experience servicing and maintaining heavy plant and industrial equipment.

- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.

- Experience in fitting, assembling, and aligning mechanical components.

- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

- Basic knowledge of lubricants and lubrication techniques.

What You Need

- Working at Heights & Confined Space (Within 2 years).

- Pass a pre-employment medical.

- Hold a current driver’s license.
