As a senior UX&UI designer, your responsibilities will include taking ownership of new design projects from discovery and research to the end delivery, supporting existing projects and clients to help deliver innovative creative solutions, and pushing the boundaries of e-commerce design.
A sharp attention to detail, a love for beautiful and bespoke designs, and enthusiasm for collaborating with fellow designers are essentials.
Role & Responsibilities
1. Create unique design systems from scratch.
2. Take ownership of new design projects from discovery and research to the end delivery.
3. Design pixel-perfect modular components for different breakpoints.
4. Create low & high-fidelity prototypes, considering animations and micro-interactions.
5. Work alongside the strategy team to conduct customer research and brand research.
6. Lead design presentations and workshops with our clients.
7. Ensure designs are documented according to our standard.
8. Work alongside the development team to ensure designs are being built correctly.
9. Mentor and support mid-weight and junior designers, helping them grow and improve their skills.
10. Stay up-to-date with software updates and new tools.
11. Conduct independent research and stay informed on trends and innovations.
12. Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and growth by sharing learnings and knowledge with the rest of the team.
13. Challenge ways of working to continuously improve Limesharp's design process.
Core Skills
1. You are an expert at using Figma, with extensive knowledge of best practices, such as components, auto-layout, design systems, and libraries.
2. You are experienced in using Photoshop and After Effects, Principle, or other prototyping tools.
3. You have examples of high-quality design work that you can show us, and explain the research and process behind it.
4. You fully understand and can challenge e-commerce usability guidelines & best practices.
5. You are a team player and enjoy collaborating with other designers. You can inspire and challenge other team members' creativity.
6. You can lead and guide less experienced designers while taking ownership of a project.
7. You are curious and enjoy constantly learning new skills and researching, and exploring design principles.
8. You possess strong visual communication skills, with an eye for detail.
9. You know when to break design rules and when to stick to them.
10. You are flexible and can see beyond a brief. You ask the right questions to challenge a request, and you can tailor a presentation to align with a client's requirements.
11. You have strong persuasive abilities, effectively influencing stakeholders and building trust.
12. You are passionate about animation and interaction.
13. You have excellent verbal and written English.
