Overview

Location: Tannum Sands, Gladstone Region QLD, home of the Bailai, Gurang, Gooreng Gooreng and Taribelang Bunda Peoples

Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6:00am and 6:45pm

Pay: up to $44.20 per hour + Superannuation + Benefits

Responsibilities

- Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team

- Engaging and supervising the children at all times

- Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members

- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families

- Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures

- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements

- ACEQCA-approved early childhood qualification (ACECQA approved)

- Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or equivalent

- Willingness to travel between local services

- Flexible availability between Monday and Friday, 6:00am–6:45pm
