About Take Two

Take Two is a state-wide service providing high quality therapeutic services to children and young people who have suffered significant abuse, neglect or disrupted attachment and are clients of Child Protection. Working within Bruce Perry’s neurosequential model of therapy, we work with the traumatised child, and with their caregivers, families and communities. We help them understand the child’s trauma, and how it’s impacting their development and behaviours.

Within Take Two, clinicians provide individual, dyadic and systemic client interventions. This role involves assessment and advice relating to the care of Child Protection clients referred to the program, therapeutic interventions, and psychoeducation to the system. You will work collaboratively with the client, their families, and their care teams to create meaningful therapeutic experiences and better outcomes.

This role will work from the Morwell office and mainly service the Wellington and La Trobe Valley Local Government Areas.

About You

We are looking for a values-based clinician who understands the needs of children, young people, and families in this sector. You will demonstrate experience working with a diverse range of clients, and how you have been creative and flexible in your clinical approach. You will have proven assessment, treatment, and report writing skills, and a desire to further develop your clinical knowledge.
