As a Sustainability & Climate Trainee at Arup, you will:

- Be actively engaged in a rapidly evolving field, working closely with a highly experienced senior team of sustainability professionals.

- Contribute to a variety of tasks including sustainability consulting and certifications such as LEED and BREEAM, as well as other department projects.

- Participate in hands‑on sustainability consulting assignments from day one.

- Have opportunities to visit project sites and gain practical exposure.

We’re looking for a motivated and proactive individual with a strong interest in sustainability and teamwork, ready to develop a career in this exciting and impactful field.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Environmental Sciences, Building, or Industrial Engineering.

- Fluent in both Spanish and English (written and spoken) at a C1 level.

- Passionate about pursuing a career in sustainability consulting.

- Familiarity with energy modelling or life cycle analysis tools such as IES, HULC, One Click, or similar is a plus.

- Understanding of building systems, such as HVAC, is desirable.

Internship Details:

- Must be currently enrolled in a university program with the ability to formalize an internship agreement.

- Start Date: Immediate.

- Duration: 6‑month internship with the possibility of extension or a full‑time offer upon completion.

- Work Schedule: Flexible, between 20 to 40 hours per week, to be agreed upon with the student.

- Compensation: Based on the student’s academic level and agreed hours.
