The Position

The Position; Reporting to the Training & Consulting Team lead, within our Technical Service & Support Division, this position is seeking a Trainer to join our team in Newcastle, NSW supporting the APAC region customer base.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and ongoing support of Hexagons FMS and Safety product suite. Your role will be to provide guidance, direction and training on our portfolio, working closely across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your role will see you deliver the training and facilitation of training to our client’s operational teams on our product and the relative training packages. Internally your role will be part of a wider training and consulting team and will see you engage with other teams working cohesively to provide comprehensive support and seamless service for our customers lifecycle with Hexagon.

This position is transient in assignment location. The position home based in Newcastle, predominantly supporting Hunter Valley region, supporting the Southern APAC region which may include both interstate and international travel. You will join an 8:6 roster, whereby your work location may be on customer site/home office or interstate office locations as required. We aim to ensure alignment in forecasted work schedule however, ad hoc changes to location can occur.

In addition, we are seeking those with the following qualifications and skills.

Technical

- Background in Mining Operations with experience in FMS/Safety system operations within UG/Surface production environments.

- Class C drivers’ licence required.

- Experience working in a dynamic environment, managing multiple portfolios

- Prior experience in training delivery/customer across mine operating systems

- Strong interpersonal skills, passionate in driving positive customer service delivery

General

- Ability to lead your own deliverables, independently, embodying initiative/self-starting capabilities.

- Proactive, agile and adaptable to changing business requirements

- Ability to build strong collaborative relations across a diverse stakeholder group, both internally/externally

- Valid Australian working rights: Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen

Desirable

- Cert IV in Training & Assessment desirable.

- Prior experience in HxGN Systems, or Safety System product suites for mine operations.
