At Levande Somerton Park, we're looking for a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Officer to join our vibrant retirement living community in Somerton Park, South Australia. The Role
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for the upkeep of buildings, gardens, and communal areas, helping ensure everything runs smoothly. From general repairs and inspections to garden care and safety checks, you'll help keep our community in top shape. Reporting to the Village Manager, you'll be a trusted go-to for practical solutions and support.
What You'll Do
- Perform maintenance checks and address repairs across buildings and equipment
- Keep gardens tidy and thriving through regular mowing, weeding, and care
- Respond promptly to urgent issues, ensuring the village remains safe and functional
- Maintain records of completed work and manage tools and stock levels
- Build positive relationships with residents through respectful and helpful communication
- Support sustainability and WH&S initiatives as part of daily operations
