Customer Delivery Architect, AWS Professional Services Public Sector
4 weeks ago
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring Customer Delivery Architects (CDA) in our Customer Segment Professional Services group.
The Customer Delivery Architect (CDA) is a growth role within the Professional Services umbrella, and is principally oriented around a qualify-deliver-manage model. The CDA is responsible for partnering with the Professional Services leadership to dive deep into enterprise customer’s business challenge, to collaboratively propose and pre-qualify a particular set of outcomes that would result from a formal Professional Services engagement. Thereafter, the CDA remains meaningfully engaged with that customer, Amazon team and project/program to ensure high-value, predictable, and successful delivery.
In this CDA role, individuals are responsible for designing and proactively driving specialized solutions through Professional Services Go-To-Market, selling, and delivery mechanisms, all guided based on direct customer feedback. The CDA will work cross functionally with other AWS field roles to create alignment on solution customer value, effort, and transformational plans.
This is not a pure consultant role, nor is it a pure selling role. It is an individual with a unique hybrid of AWS platform expertise and hands-on building, coupled with cross-industry business acumen, including a heavy dose of passion for continued knowledge acquisition and growth, obsession for customers, and their success using AWS that will align well with the desired outcomes to be produced.
Clearance:
This position requires that the candidate selected will be an Australian Citizen that either holds or will be eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (AGSVA) security clearance.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop C-suite and line-of-business relationships within customer organization
- Influence and guide senior customer executives on innovation, and cloud practices
- Engage customers and collaborate with enterprise sales managers to develop strong customer and partner relationships and build a growing business.
- Leverage customer feedback to design and evolve industry-wide, high value specialized solutions
- Sell consulting engagements through proving the value of AWS services to support new distributed computing models tailored to an industry
- Coach, teach, and collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
- Deliver value by leading high quality delivery of a variety of customized engagements with partners and enterprise customers in the commercial and public sectors.
