About the Role

We’re seeking a Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our Mobile Maintenance team at our Saraji mine site. This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work alongside a high-performing crew on a 7/7 day-night rotating roster.

As part of BHP Operations Services, you’ll work within a tight-knit team structure that values safety, quality, and genuine connection between crews and supervisors. We offer strong career development pathways and support your growth within the industry.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Breakdown and scheduled maintenance on CAT 797F, 793F, 793Chaul trucks and water carts.

- Diagnosing faults and conducting repairs and servicing of diesel engines and components.

- Supporting fitters and other trades across workshop and pit breakdowns.

- Keeping work areas clean, safe, and organised.

- Contribute positively to team culture, pre-starts, and continuous improvement.

About You

- Trade Qualified Heavy Diesel Fitting or equivalent

- Prior mining experience with CAT equipment.

- Drivers licence (essential), Forklift and HR licence (favourable).

- CAT ET & CAT SIS experience (essential).

- CAT schematic knowledge.

- Autonomous, punctual, and reliable.

- Motivated, great attitude, strong work ethic.

- Team Player.
