About the role
Completing your apprenticeship within a fast-paced service department located in Richmond, you will study for a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical while working a fulltime, Monday to Friday roster.
This role will see the successful applicant learning and developing within a passionate family-owned business that is a dedicated European Vehicle Specialist. Operating from a standalone premises, they are the largest operation in Australia that pride themselves on upholding leading-edge performance.
You will learn hands on with senior service technicians and be provided with the skills and experience to excel within the Automotive industry.
What you will be doing
- Service and repair motor vehicles
- Learn all aspects of being a motor mechanic
- Complete daily paperwork (repair orders etc.)
- Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Comply with health and safety regulations
- Complete other tasks as directed
What we are looking for
- Mechanically minded and passionate about working within the industry long term
- Reliability, punctuality and hardworking
- Team players with great communication skills
- Completion of a Cert II in Automotive Technology
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Has the ability to confidently use hand tools
- Is an Australian citizen/and or Permanent Resident
