Office Manager – Sydney
We're seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join our dynamic team. This leadership role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Sydney office while managing and mentoring a small team. It's a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Office Manager looking to take on more responsibility and contribute to the success of a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead a team of two direct reports, delegating tasks effectively to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Collaborate with the leadership team to manage staffing, resources, payroll, and training in accordance with company policies and regulations.

• Facilities Management: Oversee 1,040 sqm of office and warehouse space, ensuring maintenance, security, and compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations. Managing relationships with contractors and vendors.

• Office Supplies Management: Monitor and maintain office supplies, ensuring necessary items are stocked and available. Work with the procurement team to place orders as required.

• Purchasing & Financial Administration: Manage the purchasing of goods and services, oversee expense reports and monitor stock levels. Keep accurate records in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, for tracking financials and inventory.

• Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and staff. Ensure clear, professional communication across all levels.

• Record & System Administration: Oversee office record management, including the client and supplier databases and internal communications. Ensure accurate billing and invoicing and assist the Office Admin team in maintaining financial records. Work with the finance team to address discrepancies and ensure up-to-date records.
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience (exclusive of superannuation).
Qualifications:

• Proven experience in office administration or a similar role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
