Mary MacKillop Childcare North Queensland is dedicated to delivering exceptional care to families across the Diocese of Townsville, spanning from Ingham in the North to Proserpine in the South, Mount Isa in the West, and Palm Island to the East. We have grown to include 6 Early Learning Centres, 9 Kindergartens, and 14 Outside School Hours Care centres.
About the Position
MMCNQ is currently seeking Casual Educators to provide shift coverage across our Kindergartens and Early Learning Centres in Townsville. This is a great opportunity for those seeking flexible work that fits around study, family, or other commitments. We are especially looking for educators to support shift fill at St Joseph’s Kindergarten, North Ward—a beautiful centre located along the Strand, within the St Joseph’s Catholic School campus. As the centre operates on a rotating roster, availability for both opening and closing shifts is essential.
We welcome applications from individuals who are currently studying or have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification).
What We’re Looking For
- Currently studying or completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or an ACECQA equivalent qualification)
- A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current First Aid Certificate including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain these certifications
