Forensic Accountant

Overview

My client is a leading life insurer that has been experiencing a strong growth in customers in recent years.

Responsibilities

- Conducting forensic financial investigations to assist the claims teams

- Providing expert opinion on complex financials to claims teams

- Coaching, mentoring and guiding non financial claims professionals to further develop their knowledge

- Working to tight SLA's in the reviews of complex financial structures relevant to the claim.

What you will be able to demonstrate

- A relevant degree (ideally accounting but commerce also considered)

- CA/CPA qualification or part qualification and studying

- Excellent knowledge of accounting standards (AASB and AGAAP)

- Ability to explain complex financial structures to non financial professionals (Claims Team)

- Extensive experience in forensic accounting and or financial investigations

- Prior experience of working within the insurance sector, ideally in personal injury forensic accounting

- Excellent communication skills
