Job DescriptionCategory Manager - ProjectsWe are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Category Manager - Projects to join our team.
- Provide category management through sourcing, contracts, and contractor management services.
- Undertake full lifecycle activities including sourcing strategy development, procurement planning, go-to-market, assessment, negotiation, recommendation, award, implementation, and contract management.
- Support and influence Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
- Leverage knowledge of category management and supply markets to achieve competitive advantage.
- Seek out improvement opportunities, reduce waste, and increase value for money.
You will have relevant qualifications and demonstrated experience in procurement, logistics, and/or supply chain. You can evidence category management sourcing and contracts experience. You will have gained experience in sourcing, contracts, market research, 'should cost' analysis, and procurement planning/sourcing strategies along with practical experience in negotiating and confirming negotiated outcomes into contracts.
You drive for continuous improvement and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where you influence stakeholders, develop effective working relationships, and drive for results while protecting Perth Airport's procurement interests.
