Job Description

- Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with accounting standards.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across all financial records.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for the organisation.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with financial policies and regulations.
- Support the month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to aid in decision-making.
- Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in financial software and accounting systems.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Experience in the Not For Profit sector is advantageous but not essential.
