The Role

Position Title: Assistant Cleaner in Charge

Work Type: Permanent – Full Time

Location: Baldivis

Salary: Level 2, $1,219.80 – $1,237.60 per week (pro‑rate) (GS (Misc.) GA 2025)

This role starts Term 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Cleaner in Charge to organise and supervise cleaning staff.

- Provide on‑the‑job induction training for new cleaning staff.

- Ensure a clean and safe school environment.

Requirements and Eligibility

- Good attention to detail and the ability to work individually and as part of a team.

- Organised, honest, reliable and punctual.

- Excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods, and practices.

- Obtain a valid Working With Children Check.

- Consent to and obtain a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and Screening Clearance Number before starting.

- Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
