Customer Management Specialist - Motor Claims

We're looking for Customer Management Specialists to join our expanding business, focussing on reducing motor claims complaints and enhancing our customer experience.

- Location:Townsville, QLD - mix of office and work from home

- Salary:$83,400 (including super) + performance-based incentives

- Start Date:Monday, 24th November 2025

- Hours:Permanent Full-Time - Monday to Friday

- Team:Motor Claims

About the Role

You'll join a specialist team dedicated to supporting complex motor claims and preventing complaints before they arise. Using data and reporting tools, you'll take early action to resolve issues, work closely with internal teams and help deliver consistent, positive outcomes for our customers.

This role offers visibility with senior leaders and a chance to be a part of a broader service uplift across Suncorp.

What you'll do

- Identify and manage motor claims requiring additional support to prevent complaints.

- Monitor claims using reporting tools and data, taking proactive action as needed.

- Deliver empathetic, customer-focused service while maintaining operational standards.

- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and brokers to progress claims effectively.

- Ensure accurate case management and timely, informed decision‑making.

- Contribute to a positive team culture by supporting colleagues and sharing knowledge.

What you'll bring

- Experience in customer service with strong communication and empathy.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

- Proficiency in using systems and reporting tools for claims monitoring.

- Demonstrated ability to meet targets while balancing customer and operational needs.

- Knowledge of motor claims processes and the customer journey.
