Our Adelaide branch is looking for an exceptional individual to join our parts department as a Parts Manager for our John Deere lineup for Construction equipment.
Responsibilities
- Implementing and executing Brandt/'s Parts processes and procedures.
- Developing and implementing branch-specific processes to help improve customer satisfaction and Branch profitability (typically related to the Parts Department but may also help integrate across departments).
- Ensuring employees are thoroughly knowledgeable of, and adhering to, Parts processes and procedures, resulting in high customer satisfaction, and appropriate inventory carrying costs and margins.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction to identify recurring issues and collaborating with employees and fellow managers to resolve the systemic problems.
- Managing workflow and Parts department costs, particularly labour costs, by ensuring appropriate levels of staffing, high productivity of technicians through adequate training and effective use of their time.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a leadership role or as a parts technician, showcasing strong leadership abilities and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving satisfaction through effective Parts department management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for building strong customer relationships and fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Collaborative mindset with the capability to motivate and mentor team members toward achieving departmental goals.
- Experience in parts management within a fast-paced shop environment, preferably in the construction equipment industry or a related field.
