FIFO Grader Operator

Overview

Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Grader Operator to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, 20 minutes from Uluru. The role involves working on diverse infrastructure projects across the resort township, maintaining unsealed roads, fire trails, walking tracks and drainage systems. The Grader Operator will become a specialist in their field, with the closest contracting partner over five hours away.

We are committed to safety for employees, guests and the community. An Australian Open Driver's License is required for all trades roles.

Responsibilities

- Operate grader machinery to maintain unsealed roads, fire trails, access tracks and walking paths.
- Carry out drainage works, including spoon drains, swales and erosion control.
- Complete daily pre-start checks, logbooks and minor servicing of plant.
- Assist with vegetation control and upkeep of lookouts and guest-use areas.
- Use tablets to access job requests, record completion and upload photos.
- Support the Technical Services team by assisting with other site machinery and operational tasks when required.

Access to the onsite gym and a contractor's card for the Outback Hotel on days off are included. This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, with 10-hour shifts.
