Maitland Christian School is seeking expressions of interest for the appointment of a Primary classroom teacher in 2025. Passionate and talented Christian educators are invited to apply, including new graduates. The successful applicant will be appointed to the staff of the school, commencing duties at the beginning of Term Two 2025, 0.9FTE 9 day fortnight.
The School has an excellent name in the local community and is experiencing exciting growth. Current and planned building projects will add to the well-resourced learning environments at the School.

Essential Criteria
1. A passion, heart and capacity to make a difference in young people's lives;
2. A committed Christian actively involved in their local church;
3. An ability to actively subscribe to and promote the foundational beliefs and doctrines of Maitland Christian School Limited;
4. The ability to relate well to staff, students, parents and the broader community;
5. A commitment to work within a collaborative team environment;
6. The capacity to be part of the implementation of a Christian Studies program deepening students in their understanding of biblical and systematic theology;
7. A relational and empowering teacher, able to actively contribute to a team-growing culture of excellence;
8. Willingness to learn, grow and be coached in their understanding and delivery of quality Christian Education;
9. Well developed communication, administration and interpersonal skills;
10. The capacity to further develop a transformational Christian Education integrated into the curriculum and delivered with an increasing missional focus;
11. Experience in delivering quality teaching practices, particularly in Literacy and Numeracy, using an evidence-based quality teaching framework with explicit teaching foundations and data informed practice;
12. Excited about being instructionally coached to facilitate their growth in effecting improved student learning outcomes, both in their class and across the Primary School;
13. An understanding of the requirements of supporting students with learning diagnoses in a mainstream classroom environment;
14. The ability to operate in a strengths-based framework and to develop staff and student culture around this framework.
