Cavpower is an official Caterpillar dealer for South Australia and Broken Hill, specialising in providing equipment, parts, service and rentals across 10 local and regional branches throughout the State.

Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, you will represent Cavpower Parts and Service department in a sales capacity and promote all parts throughout the business. You will provide high quality service to all customers quickly, efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.

Key responsibilities of the role:

- Locate and sell parts to all email-in, call-in, and walk-in customers and technicians
- Provide quotation and pricing to customers' orders
- Determine a customer's needs by inspecting worn or damaged parts
- Advise customer of additional related parts (e.g., gaskets/seals/hardware)
- Keep customers informed of new parts, services available, and dealer merchandising programs
- Actively follow up on customer quotations and backorders
- Maintain accurate customer and equipment information
- Adhere to Cavpower policies and procedures
- Report on sales potential to the Parts Supervisor
- Support Product Support Field Sales/Inside Sales/Machine Sales/Service Force
- Participate and complete training as required and/or available

About you:

You will have excellent customer service skills, with a passion to drive sales and a desire to develop your knowledge and skills within a trusted Caterpillar dealership.

- Mechanical knowledge an advantage
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work
- Knowledge of Caterpillar Parts/Products (highly regarded)
