Job Description

Now, let's talk about the role... As Director Relationships, you'll drive SME growth through a relationship-focused approach to business banking.

If you thrive on:

- Independently address the financial needs of regional businesses, and structure them in a common-sense way without the need to rely on a rigid policy framework.

- Staying abreast of economic trends and their impact on businesses.

- Build robust relationships with both customers directly, local industry bodies and with internal and external business partners more generally.

- Championing teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.

- Crafting and implementing best practice relationship models for our valued SME customers.

You'll champion a genuine, personable, and traditional approach to relationship-centric business banking, driving growth through a client-centric proposition reliant on the expertise of our seasoned lenders.

Desired Skills and Experience

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial banking, credit, or related fields.

- Proficient in credit writing and financial analysis.

- A self-starter with a proven ability to build networks.
