Contract Compliance Specialist

Reporting to the Delivery Partner Manager, the Compliance Officer is responsible for engagement, onboarding, and compliance tasks associated with subcontractor management.
The position will establish trusted partnerships with owner drivers, fleet operators, and subcontractor agents.
The Compliance Officer will ensure that all subcontractor partners are engaged to undertake road transport tasks, ensuring adherence to all compliance requirements, including relevant state-based agreements.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the Australian Road Freight Subcontractor Agreement meets required standards.
2. Establishing and maintaining professional relationships based on shared values such as trust, transparency, and partnership.
3. Managing, monitoring, and reviewing subcontractor compliance documentation in the TGE Contracts portal for accuracy.
4. Documenting and maintaining records to support transparent communication.
5. Participating in regular performance review meetings and maintaining accurate records.
6. Participating in event and incident investigations with delivery partner teams.
7. Working with subcontractors to provide guidance on compliance evidence and activities.
8. Ensuring contractor services comply with relevant freight service agreements.
9. Generating reports and analytics on subcontractor compliance and performance.
10. Handling inquiries from potential and existing subcontractors regarding recruitment, prequalification, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
11. Monitoring and controlling subcontractor industrial instrument compliance activities, including education, remediation, and reporting.
12. Supporting subcontractor prequalification processes in the TGE Management Portal (Avetta).
13. Maintaining accurate and compliant documentation for subcontractor compliance in Avetta.
14. Maintaining the subcontractor information database, providing a directory of registered and compliant driving partners.
15. Managing, monitoring, and reviewing subcontractor compliance documentation, ensuring current insurances and accreditations.
16. Collaborating with the HSE Assurance team and subcontractors to address audit outcomes.
17. Ensuring subcontractors complete relevant induction requirements for safe work practices with TGE and customer partners.
