This 12-bed unit offers a calm and therapeutic environment for both patients and staff. The unit supports individuals aged sixty-five and over from the inner Perth metropolitan area, treating a range of conditions including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and neuropsychiatric conditions associated with dementia and other neurological disorders.As an Enrolled Nurse – Mental Health, you will participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based care within your scope of practice.We offer a supportive and collaborative environment that values continuous learning and empowers you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.Experience in Mental Health is essential.The role is initially offered on a casual basis, with the possibility of transition to permanent employment for the right candidate.**The Position Enrolled Nurse - Mental Health*** Works in consultation and co-operation with other care team members to provide care according to the physical and emotional needs of the patient and their families.* Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the day-to-day mental health and basic physical care requirements of patients.* Participate in patient assessments, including mental health, risk assessment and management, history taking and developing comprehensive nursing care plans.
