About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our client’s team. This role involves operating forklifts to move, load, and unload goods, as well as general warehouse duties requiring manual handling.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
- Perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and stacking goods.
- Assist with general warehouse operations such as picking, packing, and stock rotation.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Conduct pre‑start checks and report any faults or safety concerns.
- Pick items using an RF scanner.

Requirements

- Valid forklift license (Counterbalance) with at least 6 months experience.
- Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks (lifting up to 25kg).
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Own reliable transport is a must.
- Must be able to commit to 2‑4 weeks of training (this will be morning shift).
- Drug and alcohol test and a medical assessment will be conducted prior to start.
