Light Vehicle Mechanic

Overview

WSB Distributors has opportunities for experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic for our Cummins branch and be part of the growing success of its third generation, family-owned, company.

The successful applicants will be motivated, able to work autonomously, and understand the importance of providing a professional experience from start to finish. Building strong connections with customers and representing WSB with reliability and trust is essential.

Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical diagnostics and repairs on light vehicles, using a range of motor vehicle technology and diagnostic tools.

- Service, repair and maintain vehicles while delivering a professional customer experience from start to finish.

- Work with electric and hand tools; contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment.

- Collaborate with team members to support the successful operation of the Cummins branch.

Successful applicant will need

- Knowledge of a wide range of motor vehicles and motor vehicle technology

- Strong diagnostic skills; enjoy practical and manual activities

- Ability to think on their feet and be a team player

- To be able to work with electric and hand tools; strong attention to detail

- Aptitude for technical activities and problem-solving

- Relevant licenses: Automotive air conditioning licence and HC licence would be advantageous but not required
