About the role

This exciting opportunity is offered as an 18-month fixed-term contract, available exclusively to candidates who call Kalgoorlie home. Reporting directly to the Manager of Geology, it is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys solving problems, and wants to play a pivotal role in supporting a high-performing team.

Working on a balanced 5:2:4:3 roster (10-hour day), you’ll be based at our Mungari operations, right in the heart of where the action happens. At the core of this dynamic position is a unique opportunity to support tenement reporting, a critical function that ensures compliance and keeps our exploration activities on track. If you love detail and seeing the big picture, this is your chance to shine.

Your day-to-day will be anything but ordinary. From managing rosters, coordinating travel and accommodation, ordering, and onboarding new starters, to processing invoices, assisting with budgets, and preparing tenement expenditure reports you’ll be a central part of keeping the Geology Department running smoothly. You’ll also help drive our monthly reporting cycle and even have a hand in planning social events and team catch-ups.

About you

You must have previous experience in a site-based administration role and display the following attributes.

- Effective verbal communication, writing and presentation skills
- Proven experience delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- WA Drivers Licence and the ability to drive a car on WA country roads.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Initiative and strong problem-solving abilities
- Certificate IV in Business Administration (desirable but not essential)
