In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real and meaningful difference when it matters most.* Assist residents with daily personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.* Help with mobility, including transferring residents from bed to chair, assisting with walking, and using mobility aids safely.* Support residents with feeding, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration, and assisting with special dietary needs.* Assist with medication reminders and support residents in taking prescribed medications, under the guidance of a nurse.* Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a caring and comfortable environment for residents.* Help maintain a clean and safe living environment by assisting with light housekeeping tasks, including making beds and cleaning rooms.* Assist with organizing and engaging in activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive well-being.* Follow care plans as outlined by registered nurses and healthcare professionals, ensuring the highest standards of care are met.* Maintain confidentiality and respect for residents' privacy, dignity, and personal preferences.* Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control procedures and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).**What you’ll bring:*** You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart.
