This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in procurement, supply and logistics, while working alongside industry professionals in a fast-paced environment.
This role will be 7 days on 7 days off equal time roster, residential in Broome.
Reporting to the Supply Officer Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in the success of ensuring high accuracy of the stores inventory and ensuring 100% compliance with aircraft release documentation and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Receive, issue and control all aircraft components and consumables in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Process all inventory movements, part issues, returns and adjustments within PHI’s ERP software.
- Maintain accurate stock levels, perform regular stocktakes and reconcile discrepancies in PHI’s ERP software.
- Ensure all parts and materials are correctly documented, tracked and stored in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
- Liaise with the procurement team to request, track, and expedite critical parts to support aircraft maintenance schedules.
- Assist packing, labelling, and shipping of aircraft parts both domestically and internationally, ensuring compliance with Dangerous Goods and Customs regulations.
- Work closely with the engineering and maintenance team to ensure timely supply of required parts to minimise aircraft downtime.
- Adhere to company safety, quality assurance and environmental standards at all times.
- Generate reports on inventory status, stock discrepancies, and supply chain performance when required.
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Dangerous Goods Acceptance training desirable
- Sound understanding of procurement, warehousing and logistics.
- Relevant aircraft and product knowledge desirable
- Ability to interpret technical data
- Experience using RAMCO or a similar inventory management system
