Position Available:

As a vital member of our construction team at DG CHEN PTY LTD, you will work closely with the Site Supervisor to carry out wall and ceiling plastering tasks, ensure surfaces are prepared to a high standard, and assist in delivering projects efficiently and on schedule. Prior experience in a fast-paced construction environment is highly regarded. This role offers an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to producing high-quality fibrous plaster finishes for our clients.

This is a FULL-TIME position.

Responsibilities:

- Determining the most efficient plasterboard layout and installing insulation and vapour barriers to enhance comfort, energy efficiency, and structural integrity.
- Measuring, marking, and cutting plasterboard to precise dimensions, lifting and positioning panels, and securely fixing them to walls, ceilings, and battens.
- Preparing and securing corner beads in position to ensure strong, neat edges.
- Covering joints and nail holes with wet plaster, joint tape, and sealing compound, then smoothing the surface with a wet brush and sandpaper for a flawless result.
- Plumbing and straightening corners, angles, and wall-ceiling surfaces to achieve perfect alignment and smooth finishes.
- Applying and finishing acoustic, insulating, and fireproofing materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement, and other similar compounds to meet safety, durability, and aesthetic requirements.

Requirement:

- Fully qualified plasterer with at least 3 years of proven experience in the industry.
- Strong attention to detail and a deep pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Capable of working independently, efficiently managing your projects, and meeting deadlines.
- Honest, reliable, and a collaborative team player who thrives in a supportive work environment.

What We Offer:

- Attractive salary range of AUD 66,000to $75,000 per year.
