Are you a Storeperson with forklift, produce market and warehouseexperience seeking a new challenge? Costa invites you to join us at our Epping-basedbusiness that provides marketing services for growers' produce through ourmarket floor.

The Position

Location: Epping, Melbourne

Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 10pm to 12am starts

This is a hybrid role. You will be required to complete pickpacking and/or palletising duties, other manual handling tasks, as well asforklift operating duties.

Who we’re looking for

An experience forklift operator, preferably with producemarket experience, who will be responsible for working with fresh produce in abusy market environment. Working across multiple teams, communication andforward planning skills are a must to ensure smooth operations. Availability towork 5-6 days for a 10pm to 12am start including the occasional weekend, ifrequired, is essential.

What you’ll be doing

- Safe and efficient forklift transporting andtracking of fresh produce, loading and unloading of containers and trucks.
- Daily pre-starts and equipment checks toproactively identify maintenance issues.
- Receiving and Despatch work.
- Picking and Packing orders, manual handling.
- Other duties to assist despatch staff, asrequired.
- Current Forklift License essential, with aminimum of 2 years’ experience.
- At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse ormarket environment.
- Previous experience working in Fresh ProduceMarkets highly desirable.
- An understanding or perishable goods picking,stock rotation and expiry date sorting.
- A cool head under pressure and ability to workin a diverse team.
