John Paul College (JPC) Primary School is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Assistants (Teacher Aides) to join our vibrant team in 2026 We have multiple part-time positions available, offering an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment where every day brings new opportunities to inspire and support students.

The Key Responsibilities

In these roles, you will:

- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
- Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Support students with diverse learning needs
- Prepare classroom materials and resources as directed by the teacher
- Work collaboratively with other College staff to promote student well-being and achievement

Available Positions:

- Prep Learning Assistant - Part-time (62.5 hours/fortnight) Contract position
- Primary School Learning Assistants - Multiple part-time roles (40 hours/fortnight) Contract positions

About You:

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about education and eager to become a key part of our Primary School team.

Ideally, you will hold a Certificate III in Education Support and be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to providing high-quality student support. Your knowledge, experience, and practical skills will empower you to contribute effectively to student learning and growth.

As this role involves working directly with children on campus, the successful candidate must have a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and a valid First Aid qualification.
