Senior Occupational Therapist – Pakenham
Flexible Hours | Supportive Leadership | Work–Life Balance Prioritised
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist ready to step into a role where your expertise is valued—and your wellbeing is genuinely supported? At ORS, we know that exceptional clinical work begins with a balanced, fulfilled clinician.
Due to ongoing national growth, we are seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join our successful Pakenham team. With more than 120 Occupational Therapists across Australia, you’ll be joining a large, collaborative, and highly skilled network where your advanced practice and leadership capabilities can thrive.
About the Role
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role across service delivery, clinical excellence, and team capability building. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Functional Capacity Assessments
- Assistive Technology and Home Modifications (including complex cases)
- Sensory and emotional regulation assessments
- Environmental risk assessments
- Therapy-based intervention and skills development
- Providing clinical guidance, mentoring, and support to early-career clinicians
You will work across clinic, home, school, and community settings—ensuring variety and meaningful impact in your day‑to‑day role.
A Work–Life Balance You Will Appreciate
We understand that senior clinicians balance leadership, client work, families, and commitments outside the workplace. ORS is designed to support that with:
- Flexible hours and part‑time options
- Work‑from‑home flexibility
- Control over your calendar and a manageable caseload
- Clients allocated close to home
- Suburban offices with free parking
- A leadership team that values wellbeing and sustainability
Your career should complement your lifestyle—not compete with it.
Professional Development and Ongoing Support
Even senior clinicians deserve structured learning opportunities. At ORS, we invest in your long‑term growth:
- Ongoing one‑on‑one and group clinical supervision
- Access to senior mentors and national clinical networks
- Specialist training across paediatrics, home modifications, mental health and more
- Opportunities to develop in leadership, supervision, and practice stream specialisation
We are committed to helping you excel—without compromising balance.
Career Pathways
As a Senior Occupational Therapist at ORS, you will have opportunities to:
- Step into leadership, supervision, or training roles
- Lead speciality programs or practice areas
- Pursue secondments or relocation across our national footprint
Many of our current senior leaders have developed their careers right here at ORS.
What You’ll Bring
- A degree in Occupational Therapy with relevant experience
- AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
- Strong clinical experience within the NDIS or related environment
- A driver’s licence and vehicle
- Relevant checks (or willingness to obtain)
Most importantly: a commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred clinical care.
Why ORS?
For more than 30 years, ORS has delivered:
- Evidence‑based, client‑focused clinical practice
- A positive, supportive, and diverse workplace culture
- A national footprint with the stability of a large, family‑owned organisation
- Remarkable growth—expanding our workforce by 1200% in just four years
You’ll be joining a business that is established, innovative, and genuinely invested in its people.
Ready to Join Us?
If this role sounds like the right next step for you, we’d love to hear from you.
