The Field Installer Repairer plays a vital role in delivering end-to-end installation of Telstra's telecommunications networks, ensuring customer satisfaction and network integrity.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will work independently to activate and assure telecommunications and technology products and services in residential and commercial settings. You will collaborate with a diverse team to achieve optimal customer and business outcomes. Multiple positions are available across the country, with a requirement to reside in or relocate to the specified areas.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver seamless service rectification and product installations, ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Maintain and install copper cables, including fault finding, jointing, and networking.

- Manage fibre network technology, core network technology, and data services.

- Maintain and install Customer Premises Equipment for both consumer and business clients.

- Perform fault finding over copper networks, including in rural or remote areas.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold relevant licenses and qualifications, including:

- Certificate I & II in Telecommunications

- Open cabling license

- Traffic management qualifications

- White card (industry safety)

Support for training in traffic management and white card certificates is available. Vaccination against Covid-19 is required unless reasonable adjustments are discussed.
