The Short Term Casual Pool Physiotherapists contribute to the flexible and consistent Physiotherapy Services across South Eastern Sydney Local Health District. This includes the opportunity to work across all facilities including Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals..

The Role

Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality Physiotherapy care to patients of Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland Hospitals consistent with NSW Health and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures and standards.

Where You’ll be Working
Prince of Wales Hospital and Community Health Service is a Level 6 Tertiary Referral Hospital with an inpatient bed base of 370. Each year we care for more than 70,000 patients in our Emergency Department and have around 50,000 admissions to the inpatient units. POWH offers an outpatient service and rural outreach service and provides more than 900,000 occasions of non-admitted patient care each year, including innovative virtual models of care.

Selection Criteria
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.

- Qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and Physiotherapy Board of Australia; and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
- Demonstrated core competency skills in Physiotherapy.
- Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, to both engage patients/clients and work effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to the use and application of professional and clinical digital technologies.
- Demonstrated participation or leadership in quality improvement processes and teaching, commensurate with years of experience.
- Ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
- Current drivers licence (or a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position).
