You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. Data Center Operations designs, installs and maintains the world’s largest Computing Infrastructure. Our scope of work includes systems, repairing, dealing with issues, handling and tracking parts and assisting in Data Center maintenance. Amazon Data Centers are large-scale high-density centers where you will help change the face of Technology in the region.

Key job responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of system (Server/Network) reliability by prioritizing and resolving trouble tickets efficiently
- Share knowledge and help educate less technical staff on the best practices in Data Center Operations
- Be a technical escalation point for other team members
- Participate in and deliver on high impact projects
- Contribute to, and improve on operational efficiency

Additional role requirements
- This role may involve bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely
- 24/7 shift coverage is required and includes 12 hour rotating shifts. This may change based on the future needs of the business
- Due to the location of our sites, candidates should possess a valid driver's license and their own vehicle

When we feel supported in the workplace and at home, there’s nothing we can’t achieve in the cloud.- 3+ years of server hardware management, network management and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Network Hardware: Copper and Optical Fiber Cabling, Switches, Routers
- Experience with storage subsystems
- Linux administration knowledge and experience.- Associate's degree or higher in an IT-related field with applicable certifications or/and equivalent professional or military experience
- Previous experience working in a Data Centre environment (racking & stacking gear, cable management, hot & cold aisle containment)
- Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications
