Role type: Permanent, Part time. 20 hours per fortnight (2 week rotating roster)
Schedule: Week 1 - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 6:00am to 10:00am; Week 2 - Monday, Tuesday - 6:00am to 10:00am

What You Will Be Doing
As a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will collect blood and coordinate specimen samples from patients, delivering great customer service and quality healthcare with empathy.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attention
- Keeping meticulous records for every patient and sample
- Delivering documentation within strict turnaround times
- Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
- Liaising with customers, clinic staff and couriers
What Type of Person Will Be Successful
To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector, or will have gained a Certificate III and be looking to embark on a Pathology Collection career. A Registered Nurse may also transition from weekend and overnight work to regular daytime shifts.
These are the type of attributes & skills you would possess:
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or Certificate III in Pathology Collection or healthcare background
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a high level of empathy
- Organised with strong time management and attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinic
- Valid driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
- Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, New Zealand citizenship, or valid visa with work permission
- Vaccine-preventable disease evidence (e.g., Hepatitis B) is a requirement
- Other vaccinations may be required depending on location
