Role details
About the role
Ventia is seeking Electricians to provide asset maintenance across several Defence sites located in the Albury Wodonga Military Area.
This role carries out planned, reactive and preventative maintenance across electrical assets for our Defence sites. The suitable candidates will bring strong technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to national defence capability in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
About you
- Hold a Trade Certificate – Certificate in III Electrotechnology
- Hold a Victorian (A Grade) Electrical licence
- Hold a current Australian Drivers licence
- Ability to conduct maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, repairs and planned works
- Aptitude to fault finding on electrical assets and provide timely reactive maintenance
- Previous experience in completing work orders and verifying tasks in accordance with requirements
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen undertake and maintain a satisfactory Australian Federal Police check.
