Dental Technichian

Whites Dental Services Pty Ltd is a privately-owned dental surgery offering a great working environment and servicing the local community since 2003.

Given the growing needs of the business, we now require a dental technician to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be required to work out of our premises in Neutral Bay, NSW.

The duties and responsibilities of the position include:-
Working closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure that all patients' needs are satisfied.
Assisting dentists and dental professionals in fabricating and repairing dental appliances including crowns, bridges, dentures and other devices.
Providing dental support to dentists and other dental professionals where needed.
Receiving and interpreting orders from a dentist or dental professional
Making models of the mouth and teeth from impressions of the mouth taken by a dentist
Competent with smile design and wax ups
Building up wax replicas of the part of all of the mouth and/or teeth on the model
Bending of wires for fixed retainers
Fabrication of whitening trays and dental splints
Denture repairs
Full acrylic wax up for partial and full dentures
Relining, repairing or modifying full or partial dentures
Experience using 3 Shape software is preferable.
Polishing and finishing the appliance
Updating dental technician job knowledge and skill by participating in training sessions.
The successful candidate will have the following:

Associate-Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma and one (1) year full-time relevant work experience; OR

Five (5) years of full-time work experience.

A base salary of $75,000.00 per annum (plus superannuation) will be offered to the successful candidate.

The successful candidate must also be passionate, proactive and have an eye for detail.
