Senior Strategy Consultant

Our client is a top-tier global consulting business which has a reputation for a truly agile and innovative approach to their work. Due to the growth of their wealth and asset management strategy team, they are looking for a Senior Strategy Consultant to join the business and lead and mentor a team, providing clients with strategic solutions and grow the client base.

In this key business role, you will be responsible for the development of insights and projects, building client relationships and contributing to strategic consulting assignments. You will be someone who can both manage your own work, your team's progress and be an exceptional, influential communicator, able to to provide clear guidance and direction to both clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities:

- Leading strategic projects with support from a team of Consultants/Senior Consultants, working collaboratively with other key team members. This includes consulting and analysis to an extremely high standard, commensurate with the firm's value proposition and client expectations
- Leading a team to provide financial & commercial analysis to clients for business strategy formulation and transformation plans based on market intelligence, financial models, and analysis
- Establishing analytical frameworks and conducting complex business analyses.
- Maintaining and building a network of industry contacts and identifying opportunities for new business
- Utilising the collective expertise and resources across all divisions of the business to fully capitalise on the resources around you
- Ensuring project objectives benefit broader client strategy across the Consulting business.
- Contribute to ongoing thought leadership and IP
- Provide guidance, coaching and mentoring to a team of direct reports as required to ensure their ongoing progression and development
- Contribute to fostering a positive and collaborative team culture

Background Required:

- Proven experience in the Financial Services industry, within a consulting or industry role, with strong understanding of and experience in wealth or asset management sectors
- Experience in commercial due diligence projects is highly desirable
- Exceptional quantitative abilities, business modelling and analytical skills
- Tertiary qualifications with outstanding academics
- Proven analytical skills, the ability to draw insights from complex data sets, excellent attention to detail and high-quality standards
- An ability to develop relationships with clients and influence the thinking of key decision makers, making strategic contributions and leading presentations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with a senior audience
- Strong leadership and people management capabilities i.e. the ability to empower, mentor and develop others and bring them along the journey

You will work on projects with a range of clients, from SME's to large global corporates. The work is typically delivered in small, agile teams providing opportunities for consultants to take ownership of important elements of delivery for clients, learning fast and making an impact in a continuously evolving industry.
