Seventh-day Adventist Schools (Victoria) Ltd is seeking to employ a Secondary Learning & Teaching Coordinator to join the team at Edinburgh College. This is a part-time fixed term leave cover position (0.60-0.80 FTE) commencing 15 January 2026– 14 January 2028. Responsibilities
The focus of the Learning and Teaching Coordinator is to support and guide staff in curriculum delivery, mentoring new teachers, and ensuring the implementation of school policy and process. Key responsibilities include leading curriculum development, setting goals, and ensuring compliance with educational standards. The position oversees digital and online resources, provides training for staff, and manages data analysis to enhance teaching strategies. Additionally, the role includes coordinating NAPLAN testing, leading weekly Learning and Teaching meetings, and contributing to the broader educational community. Proficiency in SEQTA and familiarity with VCE/VASS is preferred. An integral aspect of the planning is to embed the characteristics and values of the Seventh-day Adventist school system in all aspects of learning and teaching.
Qualifications
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Education (or equivalent), registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and 5+ years teaching experience.
