About the Position:
As the Retail Manager at Jasbe Oakes, you will lead the day-to-day operations of this bustling BP service station, driving sales growth, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and optimising stock and staff performance to align with the site's recent upgrades and Jasbe's innovative ethos. This pivotal role encompasses strategic oversight of product merchandising, financial management, and team development, playing a crucial part in maintaining the station's reputation as a community hub where convenience meets quality, ultimately contributing to the broader success of Jasbe Petroleum's customer-centric network.
Key Responsibilities:
Determining product mix, stock levels and service standards
Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting prices
Promoting and advertising the establishment's goods and services
Selling goods and services to customers and advising them on product use
Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
Undertaking budgeting for the establishment
Controlling selection, training and supervision of staff
Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
A Diploma in a relevant field such as Business Management or Retail Operations.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience, or 3 years if no Diploma is held.
Strong leadership and team supervision skills to motivate and develop staff effectively.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities to engage with diverse clientele and resolve issues promptly.
Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, stock control, and basic accounting software.
Solid marketing and sales acumen to drive promotions and optimise product pricing.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards and retail compliance requirements.
