The opportunity

As our operations continue to expand, we have an exciting new opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join our team, based in WA for FIFO 5/2 roster. This role involves travel, providing critical support to our raisebore drill rigs across Western Australia. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Providing electrical, mechanical and maintenance support to Adelaide workshop & various sites nationwide
2. Assisting in the commissioning, setup & demobilisation of rigs and equipment on our sites
3. Guiding & assisting in the development of team members onsite, working closely with operations and frontline employees.

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. A full Electrical Licence
2. Extensive experience as an Industrial Electrician, with solid knowledge of PLCs
3. Demonstrated knowledge of DC Drivers and Soft Starters
4. Strong fault finding abilities
5. Preferred experience in Atlas Copco and Sandvik Raisebore Drill Rigs
6. A willingness to work in remote & harsh environments and previous FIFO work experience desired
7. A collaborative approach within a diverse environment with excellent communication and presentation abilities
8. The ability to work independently, being pro-active and well organised
9. An achievement-focused mindset, thriving on new challenges.
