Chelgrave Contracting Australia is seeking an experienced Storesperson to join our client in a permanent, full-time role based in Melbourne.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the stores, ensuring materials, equipment, and tools are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform goods receipting and inventory control tasks.

- Operate a forklift safely to load and unload materials.

- Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stocktakes.

- Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely movement of goods.

- Uphold site safety and quality standards.

About You

- A valid forklift licence (LF).

- Proven experience in a stores or warehouse environment, particularly with goods receipting.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- A proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
